Dr. Thomas Winkelmann works in Roland Berger Strategy Consultants starting from the year 2002. Being a technical and regional expert, he took part in a number of major projects, including competence fields of steel industry and machinery building. To be more specific, some of these projects included steel mill restructuring, conducting market analysis, developing marketing concepts and business-plans for leading companies.

Before joining Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Dr. Winkelmann was the Head of Ukrainian representative office of one of the leading international corporations. He also performed the functions of the Consultant of the President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Dr. Thomas Winkelmann holds a PhD degree in Technical Sciences from the Moscow Steel Institute.
